Enrollment for UTK-5th grade 24 - 25 school year will begin October 1st, 2023
Enrollment to the Vista Del Valle Dual Language Program is by choice and only those who apply to our pre-enrollment website would be considered to attend our dual language program. Open to any residential area.
Families are to apply on our PRE-Enrollment website on e-choices.
The pre-enrollment application is only for students who are NEW to LAUSD.
Continuing enrollment students do not need to apply each year. Enrollment automatically rolls over.

Age Requirements:
To enroll in Kindergarten, your child must be 5 by September 1, 2024.
New Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK) age requirement
To enroll in UTK, your child's birthdate must be between September 2, 2019 - September 1, 2020.

Once you have been selected to attend, you will receive a call from the Main Office to pick up an enrollment packet in June 2024.

Q: What do I need to enroll my child?
A: Proof of address, original birth certificate, complete immunization records and valid (unexpired!) parent/guardian ID.
Q: What is proof of address?
A: Current utility bill (water or gas), official lease agreement, closed escrow paperwork, mortgage statements, or bank statement with legal parent/guardian's name on the documents.
Q: I live in the the Vista Del Valle's boundaries. Am I guaranteed enrollment?
A: We do not guarantee enrollment for anyone. Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis. Students who reside within the Vista Del Valle boundaries have priority. Click here to see your school of residence HERE.
Q: What immunizations are required to enroll in school?
A: 5 doses of DTP. 4 doses of Polio, 3 doses of Hep B, 2 doses of MMR, 2 doses of Varicella.

Q: When do I know if I have been selected from the Choices Application?
A: Acceptance/Waitlist letters normally go out by early March via mail and email.
Q: I don't live in the area, how can I enroll in Vista Del Valle?
A: You may apply to our pre-enrollment website through eChoices HERE. Families who apply within our 6-week on time application window will be considered a candidate to attend Vista Del Valle. If Vista Del Valle is your home school, you will get 1st priority.
Q: I was notified my child is on the waitlist, what now?
A: Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis. Families who have been accepted may decide to change their mind and that opens up a seat for a wait list student. 1st priority- school of residence, 2nd priority- Siblings attending Vista Del Valle, 3rd Priority- student who applied during the "on time" pre-enrollment.
